Our mission
Regulated teams spend too much of their day stitching point tools together — one vendor for identity, another for screening, a spreadsheet for cases and an inbox for evidence. Certivo exists to replace that patchwork with a single, auditable platform, so compliance work is faster to do and easier to prove.
Our goal is narrow and deliberate: give banks, PSPs, EMIs, certification bodies and internal compliance teams one place to verify, screen, review and record — with an evidence trail strong enough to put in front of a regulator.
What we are — and what we are not
Certivo is a technology vendor. We provide compliance and certification-management software. We are not a licensed or regulated financial institution, and we do not hold or imply any regulatory licence, authorisation or certification. We do not make onboarding or regulatory decisions for our customers; the platform supports human decisions and records them, and accountability for those decisions stays with the customer.
How we build
Honesty over hype
We describe what the platform does today, not what it might do. Certifications are shown as in progress until they are held; sandbox results are labelled as simulations everywhere they appear.
Evidence by default
If a decision matters, it should be reconstructable. Every mutating action is written to an append-only audit log, so the record is a by-product of using the platform — not extra work.
Vendor-neutral
Compliance vendors change. Certivo keeps external providers behind reviewed, swappable adapters so customers are never locked to one vendor's shape or roadmap.
Security as a feature
Least-privilege access, tenant isolation, strong hashing and modern security headers are built in, not bolted on. We treat the platform as critical infrastructure for our customers.
Small surface, deep function
We would rather do a focused set of things well — verification, screening, KYB, cases, workflows, audit — than sprawl into shallow features.
Customer accountability respected
We provide infrastructure and evidence; customers keep their policy and final decisions. We are careful never to imply we make regulatory judgements on their behalf.
The technology
Certivo runs on a modern, managed stack: a Next.js and React application deployed on Vercel, with a managed Neon Postgres database in an EU/UK region. Passwords are hashed with argon2id, sessions are signed and http-only, inputs are validated with typed schemas, and modern security headers are enforced at the edge.
